People ask me these questions all the time:

"How will I know what I'm supposed to do?"

"How do I hear God speak to me in prayer?"

"I feel like I'm missing my larger purpose. How do I find it?"

I often answer those questions with the question: "What have you done to find out?"  Friend, I'd love to light an incense stick in my room, play some Audrey Assad, and then hear God's Voice (which in my imagination would sound like David Attenborough) giving me the right answer immediately. But ya gotta get off the couch and stop scrolling other people's highlight reels. Ya gotta have an adventure!

Making a pilgrimage is a time-honored Catholic tradition to discern one's personal mission and purpose. You won't find the unique program I've developed for the God's Adventure Awaits pilgrimage anywhere else. We'll perceive the Lord's voice in new ways as we walk in his sacred footsteps. We'll discuss what's on our hearts while looking looking from the heights of Mt. Tabor. We'll dive deep with actionable tools that illuminate the mission for which we were created. We'll celebrate the sacraments daily right where Jesus performed miracles. We'll return home renewed, with hearts full of memories.

This Pilgrimage is for:

Single people seeking their vocation

Couples who want to refine their shared vision of their marriage

Empty nesters discerning their next move

People at any stage wanting to live a more purposeful life

Those desiring to know God's will

"To go on pilgrimage really means to step out of ourselves in order to encounter God where he has revealed himself, where his grace has shone with particular splendour and produced rich fruits of conversion and holiness among those who believe. Above all, Christians go on pilgrimage to the Holy Land, to the places associated with the Lord's passion, death and resurrection."

-Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI

Stop wondering and go.

Have you ever felt prepared for any life choice you faced? Me neither.

My husband and I know that even finding our vocations raised more questions than it answered. There's always, always another bend in the road you can't see round. Amen? That's why I believe it's important to develop decision-making skills so you can face every situation with peace and clarity. The Pilgrimage program will equip you to:

Sharpen skills to make any life choice

Let go of what's not important and move confidently toward what is

Achieve deeper with God through sacraments and new ways of praying

Set sustainable, realistic goals

Understand the components of an authentic life

Hear God's voice as you reflect at the sites of Jesus's life

Process and discuss with Stacey and a supportive community

Meet Your Pilgrimage Leader

Stacey Sumereau

Hey there! I'm a gal whose middle name should probably be "Life Direction U-Turn." After performing in two Broadway National Tours, The Wizard of Oz and Beauty and the Beast, I felt called to leave theater and consider becoming a nun. I witnessed my vocational discernment journey on TV in the Lifetime Reality Series The Sisterhood: Becoming Nuns. Since then, I've spoken around the USA and interviewed many of today's foremost Catholic minds about finding purpose on the Called and Caffeinated Podcast. In 2020 I wrote the True North discernment course and mentored nearly 100 people from 13 countries to their next best step. I've also been blessed to host the Be Not Afraid Conference and the God's Adventure Awaits Summit. In case you can't tell, I'm a people person and I firmly believe you can never have too many friends. I adore Jesus and coffee (in that order,) and I need both to handle three kids under four along with my husband John.

I can't wait to meet you, have a cocktail with you at the lowest altitude bar in the world overlooking the Dead Sea, and get deep about where God's calling you next.

An investment you won't regret

I get it: Travel looks expensive. It's tough to take time away from jobs and daily life. But this is a gift to your future self.

I believe there's always time and room for the most important things. When I really want something, I find the money and I make the time. Muslims understand this. They place such importance on seeing their faith's place of origin so much that they require every Muslim to travel to Mecca. Why not Christians, for our faith's birthplace?

If you work just 7 hours per week for a year at a minimum wage job, you'll save more than enough for your ticket to the God's Adventure Awaits Pilgrimage.

If you typically eat out several times a week, eating in more often for a year will get you to the Holy Land in 2022.

So if sipping fresh pomegranate juice while taking in Jesus's childhood home is on your bucket list (like it is mine,) then I invite you think creatively about how you can make this work.

Adventure calls.

I'm proud to partner with Nativity Pilgrimage, a family-owned, family-operated Catholic company with mission at the heart of its work. I was hooked when I learned about the first-class hotels, outstanding service, knowledgeable tour guides, and lavish buffets featuring outstanding local cuisine on a Nativity Pilgrimage. Pray and eat amazing food? Yes, please!

If travel to Israel is a safety concern, I totally feel you! Fortunately, the areas we travel to are conflict-free and very safe for pilgrims. Nativity Pilgrimage staff are locals with their fingers on the pulse of local events. They keep pilgrims' safety as a top priority.

Sadly, each year over 200 Christian families leave the Muslim-dominated Holy Land. Christians currently make up only 3% of the population and each year that number dwindles further. Nativity Pilgrimage helps keep Christians in the Holy Land by providing meaningful employment. That means you'll stay at Christian-owned and operated hotels, be led by Christian tour guides, and have the opportunity to bring home souvenirs made by Christian artisans. You can hear all about the amazing mission of Nativity Pilgrimage on the Called and Caffeinated Podcast in the words of its founder, Khaled Jacoub. He's a Jerusalem-born Catholic who's worked tirelessly to provide employment for those in his homeland, as well as stellar travel experiences for pilgrims, for over a decade.
